what does \"too choppy for me\" actually mean??

Like... it\'s not flowing, or smooth looking. Think of water - when it\'s choppy, it\'s rough.
I like realism in art. Very rarely do I like impressionism or modern art, etc.

oh it is to choppy for your TASTE..I thought you meant you had your computer set on compressed graphics or something and you couldn\'t see them because they were too choppy.

hahaha, sorry i just had to laugh at being, in a round about way, refered too as impressionistic or modern. I dont think I am, or that my work is either of these things, but to tell you the truth, I don\'t know art. I just know that I make stuff that is sometimes called art.

I show forms in a jestural way, to show livingness. if you take a pincel and paper and draw a photograph, your drawing inanimation in my opinion, not life.
..also, i dont use brushes, so that may also contribute to the "coppyness" of my paintings, I hate brushes+oil, just gumbs things up.

That\'s fine that you don\'t like brushes. Tongue My great grandmother was a painter, and used only knives in some of her paintings with canyon walls, water, etc.
And I wasn\'t meaning to say your art was impressionistic or modern, I have no idea what to call it. lol. I\'m not really much of an artist myself... The only thing I can draw or paint is scenery (background & trees), and even those don\'t always turn out right, lol. I did like your sculpts though, that\'s one thing I can\'t do anything in. Good stuff mate, just keep going...the more you work the more youll see yourself grow and progress and thats the most exciting thing you can experience with visual art. Well, that and charging a ludicrously high fee for a commish you dont have time for and then getting the money for it.
Great work mate.
Colin.
