I wonder how well red liquid electrical tape would work...

I used my decal machine to make my triangles...if you draw up the sizes you want, I\'ll cut you a couple of sets.

Yeah, that\'s a good alternative, sometimes it leaves streaks if it\'s a real cheap polish though.

Quote:You may also want to try using frisket paper. That\'s how I make mine. I found it more easy then using tape to mask it off because you can reuse it a few times. You can use a ruler and draw the triangle out on the paper and then cut it out to make the stencil. When you cut out the triangle you can stick the cut out triangle on your Hockey Mask to see if you have a size that looks good before you paint.

No the plastic tape IS waht I used for the triangle. I wanted to use something as similar to the original stickers that were used on the screen used Hockey Mask and my way turned out nice. Thanks for all the help tho guys. I will keep it in mine for other movie style triangles when I have to paint.

I\'ve always eyeballed them, from images and movies, and lightly traced them on with a pencil first, then painted with acrylics. The forehead triangle is the easiest, but those cheek tri\'s are a pain in the patootie, to get "just right". I\'m kinda wondering too if there is any stencils to be had around, just for that purpose. I\'d try tape next time if I had the right stencil. I guess I could try to MAKE my own, I suppose?

Here are my Part 3 decals if anyone is interested.

They are made from 3M 5yr sign vinyl and work great.

I use motorcycle retouch paint with painters masking...no streaks and it comes in a lovely deep red.
