from what i can see from the pic mark posted, on the bottom pic where you can see the teeth from above you can clearly see the teeth are flat backed but still at a curved point at the front.

Hey, Mark...

Even though I know that "regular teeth" is the correct answer, it seems to be losing fast in the poll...

So I propose that we make a compromise.

As you can see in the pics I\'ve attached, if you look CLOSELY at the three bottom teeth, you\'ll notice that the one in the middle CLEARLY has a flat top to it. The tooth is turned on its side, it leans outward, and the top is facing the camera. You can see the line of it in almost every pic if you look hard.

That said, (as far as I know) NOBODY can provide conclusive proof for the other two teeth, other than the part 4 stunt mask recasts (which should have ended the argument, but didn\'t...). So how about you do this:

A.) The tooth furthest to the right side of the mouth...You make that one pointy.
B.) The middle tooth...You make it a regular tooth like the pics show and turn it outward away from the mouth like the one in the pics.
C.) The small third tooth...You make that one a BROKEN tooth. I think both sides of the fence could agree on that one, since nobody can provide any real proof otherwise. That, and given the strange look of that tooth in pics, I think it would work out nicely for accuracy.

One sharp tooth, one regular tooth, and one totally artisticly licensed broken tooth (in that order, from J\'s right to his left). Anyone have any thoughts on this? I think it seems like a workable compromise, and I\'d be all for it.

Ryan

A. When you learn to sculpture you comment about compromising with a sculptor.
B. When you get a job act like you are really going to buy something.
C. Mark is the master creator of all things and doesn\'t need to compromise with you on anything ever.
D. Your pontification is making me sick and I know I am not the only one who feels that way.

Jason\'s bottom right teeth are overdeveloped "eye\' teeth, just like what we have in our mouth. There attached to a deformed gum. So they are somewhat pointy, but not all 4 sides of the tooth come into a single point. Feel the fang like teeth in your mouth and theres your answer. pointy on all 3 sides but flat on the back of the tooth. so they are somewhat pointy, but then again there not. Its really just a matter of what you really want markus.

Well, Since Aaron had two recasted stunt masks from the production of Part 4, I thought we could all get along and agree that the teeth are normal teeth, turned sideways, if you guys missed that part, I believe its on page 15. Even Spaz, who was Gung-ho for pointy teeth, sees it now. Big Grin

Teeth aside..lets not knock the mangler people!!! Sure he\'s an ugly and terrible recast but still a rare piece of F13 prop history. There wasn\'t even a jason mask hobby when Mangler came out.

And i\'m biased because I own number 4 and searched long and hard for one and paid a lot! LOL

I have also heard that the mangler teeth were sculpted in because i\'m sure they removed the other ones for molding and just sculpted in some quick teeth with no regards to how accurate.

Where is Billy Kirkus on this? He owns a 1st gen dummy prop casting!
