A friend of mines review...."The movie is vile, disgusting, vulgar and totally unpleasant, totally "white trash" vibe. I think the dialogue and situation they put Michael in is just totally exploitive and not interesting at all."Mind you, I have not seen it yet and won't until I see the 'theatrical' version. Then I will see all of the alternative versions and wonder what happened, if anything. As a HUGE fan of the original I’m just really trying to keep an open mind to it.

Just watched the workprint and as far as a remake "yikes" it's bad. I'll still go see the theatrical release but, I don't think it will make much difference. Maybe if the Halloween series was never made this film would be an OK slasher film. I'll stop there cause I could go on and on. This just wasn't Rob's style of film.

i thought it was ok...but the theatrical release is way different and more put together from what i hear,,,me being a diehard h78 fan i wish they would have left it alone...but it was bound to happen..tommy
