You forget the cruelty and mass genocide that has gone in the world YEARS AGO!The greatest generation, the WWII vets, were witness to some of the worse cruelty we've ever seen on this planet..the Holocaust. I have a sociology degree. A lot of my classes dealt with the way the media portrays everyday life. Things used to be far more hush hush. Bad things were swept under the rug. Nowdays the only news reported is bad news.No matter what is going on in the world I generally like to have a little optimism. Pessimism is a frustrating thing to carry.The man that did this was obviously mental disturbed. People have always been mentally disturbed...except in years past they blaimed it on demonic possession LOL

for gods sake, hes beating up a poor defenseless child who cant defend himself and its very hard to imagine what mental and physical pain he was goign through at that time.....i dont feel remorse for this guy whatsoever...its a damn good thing that the officer shot him..although i wouldve liked to see him go to jail and get his ass brutally kicked by the inmates, im pretty sure that very bottom pits of hell is a much worse place...

Hearing stuff like this really chokes the shit out of me! I just can't understand how anyone can do this to a child. It's just completely sickening that not ONE person did anything to stop it!!!! If it had been me, I would have killed that piece of filth in a heartbeat! I think when you have kids of your own, (as a lot of us here do), you feel even stronger about these incidents! I can't even describe the amount of love I feel for MY son. I know if anyone harmed a single hair on my 3 year old's head, their life would be over in a second and fuck the consequences! NOBODY but NOBODY should ever inflict that kind of pain and suffering on a poor defenceless child. I am completely gutted for the poor little lad. May he rest in peace and may his father rot in hell!! Honestly, stuff like this happens all the time. Its hard to think, but the best thing to do is stop caring. The world has always had the most insane people ever. Like Dan said, go back in time and see the awful things that have happened. The trick now is we are brought up to think its a perfect amazing world. So since we are trained to think that way, every little thing that happens gets everyone in an uproar.Most of you guys are saying you would have beatin this guy to a pulp, If i had the chance i probably would too, but you never know what could happen. This guy was obviosly crazy enough to kill a toddler, and the nerve to do it in public.I mean if you saw a fire, and the fire department wasnt doing anything, would you start spitting in it to put it out? They guy was shot in the head, not more you can do to him, though im sure most of you hear would rather of had him suffer for what he did. People like this do disgust me.But to say humans are worse than animals, i dont know. A lot of animals eat their young and kill the husbands, a lot of animals dont have a thought about death, because life isnt really about enjoying, its about just surviving...

I live in Modesto and we're only about 25 mins away from Turlock where this happened. It's shocking to think such things can happen in your own backyard. I myself don't know much about what went down but it baffels me how so many people seemed to witness this horrendous crime yet no one tried to stop it. Like I heard on the news last week about some older man who gets run over in the street but no one does anything to help him. It's just plain sickening how selfish and lazy some people can be. Anyways if there is a God or any justice in the universe, this sick bastard is burning in eternal agony right now.
