Sirbrad, the best way to weather gloves is dip them in some watered down black dye. They look incredibly when finished. And they werent darts, they were throwing knives! lolHe used a Graham Cracker hood from Mike, i think it looks great for the camp look of jason, and looks a lot like the underwater look of the mask. Though I will be using a dan bradley looking hood for mine. I like the material of the shirt though, looks like when the sherrif is bent in half. Pants are great too! Though a darker shirt and darker boots would definately perfect your costume.

I did not want the gloves too dirty on the top.most of the grime is on the palms where he would naturally grab things. The lighting brings out the yellow. They are weathered on top as well, just not as much as the palms.I will more than likely weather them a bit more for future use.also the knives really do not matter unless you plan on throwing them at people.all you need are the little tassles that hang off the top.The machete and knife are real as hell though.I never mess with plastic weapons. As far as cobwebs.he only had those in the grave scenes mostly.I made the fence post in about 5 minutes. It is a cardboard tube with a peice of metal I cut out real quick.Same with the props, i made those out of scrap shit i had laying around.the knife through the head is an old steak knife handle which I will use for myers pics one day.As far as a budget, mine is extremely limited.i already had the mask and Hockey Mask.so basically the cost of this suit was like $30, but I did put a hell of a lot of work into it.

I consider them "darts" because they have handles like a dart, not to mention the dart board reference after the boat scene. Throwing knives tend to be flat, not have a round handle. But yeah as a costume wearer I need the most realistic plastic weapons I can find, but for display real ones are fine. Some get too heavy for the display also. I actually get great weathering from using watered down acrylics, not watered down as a base coat. They look great. I also wanted some yellow showing, and I smeared some blood on the palms/fingers and knuckles to get a great "after a kill" look. But yeah I like to add my own touches too, because for me screen accurate does not always cut it for wearing.I also do not want to use the paintball blob, because like I said people may assume it was a bad attempt at blood. I used cobwebs in the past and it really looks cool. You could even walk around like that with just the undermask, although no layman is going to know you are Jason without a Hockey Mask, and assume you are just some zombie. I also made an extra pair of cut up gloves to show zombie hands as well, as I like that look. I also do not like how the sleeves clash with the glove opening, so may have to frey out the sleeves some. Jason's gloves had huge openings mine do not.

I don't even have metal or anything to cut metal with lol. I have a two room affiency apt. with only some paints, thrift store stuff, and some expensive hockey masks and soon to have undermasks. So I do pretty well considering that. I should have latex soon, then some real fun can be begin. I wish I even had a work area! No room at all anymore.

I live in a small one bedroom apartment dude.My work area is my dining room and living room.that is where I do all my costumes and armor work, so you don't have to tell me about lack of space.lolAll my painting is done on my little excuse for a balcony.

For another cool pose you should have had your friend run at you full speed, then jump up on a chair and over you, while you raised your fence post behind his back, then snap the pick mid-air, for the pole through the guy and over the top throw. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> Course that could be very dangerous if he gets stuck.
