I personally like the hooded look. I don't however like the 4 or 5 layers he's wearing, seems a little much. I'm still very much looking forward to this movie.I am a fan of the first two movies, but the rest of the series I don't care for at all. Zombie has brought it back to being interesting for me.

Some or I should say one comment in this whole thread in particular is the reason why I can't stand this whole new era of horror films. It is not about pushing the envelope, it's not about feeling, it's not about creating a milestone in cinematic history but rather it is about one thing... THE BENJAMINS.I don't hate anybody for liking a certain type of movies but anyone with knowledge of film and film history knows that the new generation of horror fans is being taken for the proverbial ride. That's what happens when you have lots of teens with tons of disposable income liking the genre.I think that this is a generation thing and I sincerely believe that most of the older fans just don't bite on this crap that the Rob Zombies of todays film word put out. I grew up appreciating the horror films of old and its stars - Colin Clive, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney Jr. etc. and I spend hours on end watching Fulci's and Argento's work. I read numerous books and articles on the history of silver screen greats such as Hoopers TCM and it amazes me how todays generation of horror fans can't see the sheer genius behind these true masterpieces of horror cinema.Even though I have never been much of a fan of the Halloween series (don't get me wrong, I still think they are fantastic films) RZ totally butchered what little dignity the franchise had left after that webcam extravaganza. His take on Michael Myers is an abomination to keep it short and sweet.Travsall pretty much summed it up with the most beautiful phrase I have ever read in regards to the Halloween franchise:"It never made sense to me why a movie equivalent in flow, form and style to an orchestral piece would be taken on by a heavy metal rocker."Halloween was a truly well orchestrated piece, with the simplest of scares but that's what made it so effective. Going all crazy and bloody with this simple concept is like having Deicide open up for the Pope at the Vatican....

Well I loved the first remake and the RZ look of Michael Myers is my favourite look for that character. As for this new picture of the costume I am not so keen. I dont like that the mask is now so destroyed that you can see the actor underneath quite a bit. As for the clothes I am not digging it, he has on far too many layers. Hopefully he is only dressed like this for a small part of the film.
