You know at first I was in the same boat as you guys, and didnt really care for it. BUT after thinking about it all day, I actually enjoyed it. Granted, the remake WAS better, this one was still better than the Friday remake we got earlier in the year.SPOILERS!!Pros:-I liked seeing into Michael's psyche-It was somewhat realistic (him eating, what'd he look like after a year on the street)-Michael just wanted his family together again, even if it was in a sick way-He was somewhat normal as he walked around without the mask on (little kid on street) but SOON as he put on the mask it was full blown killer mode (rednecks in the field)-BRUTAL kills, you could feel his anger (this was also a con to me, some of it was just too brutal even for me)-Brad Dourif's Brackett, hands down the best character in the entire movie!Cons:-Little Michael(miss Daeg)-Cop out on how he survived a magnum bullet to the face, no info on that whatsoever. Was the end of the last movie a dream? Did he stay down in the pool? Did ANY of the hospital scene happen at all?-Pointless jumping around to kill random characters that didnt really need killingThats all I can remember at the moment, but I think I will actually go see it again and will most certainly buy it on Blu-ray when available.

Honest to mother-coonoodleing god, the WORST piece of coonoodleing Sheep I've EVER seen!!!Rob Zombie honestly needs to be drug out to the coonoodleing barn he was raised in, and have a few of his hick coonoodle characters that he throws into all of his 'films' coonoodle HIM up the hiney before they beat him to death with baseball bats. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/verymad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":verymad:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"verymad.gif\" /> This guy has NO talent. PERIOD. I honestly cannot believe that he once again threw in his ZERO talent wife in this coonoodleing debacle. A GHOST??? Come the coonoodle on man. You've gotta be coonoodleing kidding me here. The coonoodleing broad CAN'T act, and her role in this piece of coonoodleing Sheep was so bad, that it wasn't even laughable. It actually annoyed the ever loving coonoodle out of me. I came out of the theater, and I was honestly considering going back to the ticket booth and demanding my coonoodleing $$$ backIf you are a fan of the ACTUAL 'HalloweeN' films, AVOID this piece of coonoodleing fecal matter like the goddamned plague!!!!BTW - Sorry about the cussing. Spoilers in this review..... Just got back from seeing it to, what the hell is Rob thinking the only thing i liked about it was some of the kills and thats about it, Things i did not like about this movie 1. Michael does not goan 2. He has a huge beard and looks like a hobo 3. He stabed people like 20 times 4. That kid that says are you a giant should not be in there 5. Michael dies and loomis, and the ending sucked6. HATE that white horse crap
