Funny thing is I only found one perfect shirt and pants at the thrift store for part 7 in about 5 years! I recently found another great one that is like XXL. I thought about selling it but I may use it for my display only part 7 when I make another one. My Walmart has some dark olive green shirts, strange why yours don't. I think they are called Old Glory or something like that. I would go with the cloth types as the Dickies are not too comfortable to wear and heavy, plus I did not like how they ripped for fraying. You want light as possible because part 7 can get real heavy and hot.The Rubies fits kind of big, but yeah you are using it for the parts. You could wear it underneath your other clothes, but it will be a lot hotter and more weight.

It is faded glory, and that is the shirt I use.The material is perfect for fraying the holes, and weathering, and after tons of wear it just feels right. And if you plan on wearing a part 7 .....there really is no way around the heat.you get used to it after a while. My suit is head to toe latex front and back, with a full face mask underneath, and about 10 lbs of chain around my neck.So yeah, it is not the most fun suit to wear, but it gets the most oohs and ahhs and that is what I thrive on.so like sirbrad said, if you can find that faded glory shirt, by all means use it.I think when i got mine it was like $5.My Wal-marts have since quit selling them though unfortunately.I have no luck at my local thrift finding olive green shirts in my size.seems no one parts with those.lolI also used the same brand shirt in the dark blue shade for my part 8.

You can save your blue one for part 8. I might even be able to find you pants if you know your exact size, but they are tougher to come by. I thought I saw perfect ones at Walmart though, maybe even a matching Fading Glory shirt and pants. Don't know if they still have them or not. The greens do not have to match 100% though as you can't tell anyway after the weathering.
