Do Not Eat At Applebee's ! - Krypt Kreeper - 09-27-2009 I like Chilis better than Applebees anyways. Anyways I'm sure about 95% of restraunts are like that. The way I see it is if I can't taste it and I don't get sick I don't complain lol. Seriously though I'd probably eat at home more if me or anyone in my family could cook but sadly we're all lazy and fast food junkies. Any restaurant that doesnt want to follow my 2nd amendment right, doesnt want my money.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI have never even looked for a sign lol. Only metal detectors prevent me.Yeah I agree most restaurants are like this. My company has photos of a serious mold issue in the bar of a "fancy" restaurant. I'm sure they've done nothing about it. Do Not Eat At Applebee's ! - Dr Channard - 09-27-2009 all restaurants drop their food and pick it up - what are they going to do - throw away a perfectly good steak and make the customer wait another 15 minutes? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"unsure.gif\" /> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" /> anyway i went to applebees ONCE. my wife got a hair in her food and they took it back - when it came out again there was ANOTHER hair in the food and we complained and left. Do Not Eat At Applebee's ! - DeLoreanDMC81 - 10-03-2009 This is just gross and I'm sure all the restaurants to the same thing. I always think of WAITING when one of my family members complains or says something about the food. I always think they are going to spit in or do some disgusting thing to the food in the back. I guess this is the main reason why I don’t like going out to eat.I'll tell you, if they dropped my food I wouldn't mind at all waiting another 15 minutes or so for them to re-cook another one. You know how many germs are on the floor? Especially when they go use the restroom and come back to their station, all those things on the bottom of their shoes are just contaminating the floor where they are standing. So no, I wouldn't mind if they re-did my food… not one bit.I guess the moral of the story is to just stay home and cook something.James Do Not Eat At Applebee's ! - Deadguy71 - 10-04-2009 <!--quoteo(post=331813:date=Sep 27 2009, 12:06 PM:name=Colt45)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE (Colt45 @ Sep 27 2009, 12:06 PM) <a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=331813\"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecThats the same mentality that a shooter would have, hence the reason why schools are always shot up because they know no one else has a gun. It's just a precaution. But back on topic, I hate eating out anyway, I'd much rather have a home cooked meal, it always tastes better.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndSchools get shot up by disgruntled students, not gunmen ignoring a no firearms signs, but your point is taken. I don't know why, but the whole "horrible that they took food off the floor" thing always used to seem bit pretentious.. like who cares.. but DeLoreanDMC81 raises the point I hadn't considered... People tracking-in liquids and "stuff" from the bathroom floor.. dunno' about the ladies room, but I certainly wouldn't eat off the men's room floor.. plus, how about the dogcrap you stepped-in out in the parking lot.. now it's in yer food.. that's totally vile.So how come this kinda' stuff doesn't get reported? why is it that folks are protecting these kinds of actions even after leaving the company (or never having a job there in the first place). You guys talk about it, but why not tell someone who can affect change, and perhaps raise the bar a bit?Maybe some media attention on conditions like that could get them to straighten up?Sure, they'll deny their policies, but good grief, there's ways of getting proof. |
