Like everyone else, I think your sister is nuts and going about this the wrong way. Do you know the specifics of her trip? ie. If he doesn\'t have a home, where is she staying? What is the address? What is the phone number there? You need to obtain this kind of info before she leaves so you have a way of tracking her once she is there.
She should have made plans to stay at a hotel (where he could simply visit). At least that way you would have definite contact info.

From what i have learned tonight, is that he lives with a friend in an apartment(or what ever) in guwahati . I got into a big fight with her tonight, she cried, and still, too bad...shes going. Hate to say it, but got to just let her live her life.

Hey Tommy, show her this thread and knock some sense into her.
No visa then no deal! Sounds too fishy and irresponsible of him for having your sis fly off to a different country. Happens alot in Japan...To gain citizenship, women disappearing,etc...lots of innocent women vanish down here.
No offense to India but I\'ve had a few friends backpack there and they say it is a totally different country from the US. I\'d be worried about her children also.

Sounds like he is looking to get a visa! I would have definitely done a background check on his hiney. There are alot of websites out there that are inexpensive where you can do it. I hope you got and address and phone number and have verified them.
It\'s easy to pretend to be anyone on the net.

Yes, my dad has talked to her and she seems to be fine. She says they have been staying in a hotel and are trying to get a church to marry them, but so far none will. It looks to us now that this is someone who just wants to get into amarica. She is suppose to come home Sunday.
