On halloween I smear white paint on my face and run around screaming, "I\'m Michael Myers mother f****r!!" ![]() ![]() i can always count on bill for a good laugh... man that one got me.. Post Pics Of Your Masks - WilliamAbuJannah - 01-04-2005 just an observation here, not specific to any one person. But I\'m always surprised when I see collection pics with all these high end expensive accurate looking masks, busts, and hockey masks, ...then you see an inaccurate razorglove sitting with them. I\'ve seen this in alot of collector pics and I always wonder, "why?" You see this awesome looking screen accurate mask next to a glove that looks nothing like any of the ones in the movies. Backplates wrong, leathers wrong, templates are wrong, rivets are wrong, blades are usually WAY wrong. I always wonder why spend so much time and effort on making sure you get an awesome accurate mask, but then people will settle for the fastest cheapest razorglove they can find. I\'m not picking on anyone and I\'m not trying to promote myself, I just always found it really interesting. I can think of at least 8 collection/gallery pics I\'ve seen on this board and others that will have these awesome looking masks with a funky glove laying around em. again, sorry if anyones offended, I\'m not trying to pick on any other glove makers, to each thier own and all that. Like I said, it\'s just an observation. and Spaz, next year I\'ll wear some BVD\'s when I run around screaming with my white face paint. And travsall,.........you mentioned something about new pics!!! ??? :o ![]() Post Pics Of Your Masks - ERASERHEAD - 01-04-2005 in the pics where im acutually wearing the Mutant, i cant see, or breathe, it was scary, but had to be done, just for you guys! ![]() Post Pics Of Your Masks - myers-san - 01-04-2005 I think people settle for the lesser quality, because gloves are harder to come by that are accurate...as for masks..more people make them and do better jobs!!!therfore have better masks in a collection...look at my collection.. i have cropsy..then uhhhh don post!!...see? jason. Post Pics Of Your Masks - HalloweeN - 01-04-2005 I agree. Some people, like myself..get really good deals on some hockey masks. I traded several of my VS style machetes and some Myers prop knives for some of my hockey masks. I HIGHLY doubt that anyone would trade a glove for a knife or a machete. I just wanted a glove for my collection...not from any movie but, just a glove that resembles a Freddy glove. I personally wouldn\'t wanna pay $250+ for a glove...specially because I will never wanna dress as Freddy for Halloween. Hockey masks are usually much cheaper than Freddy gloves anyway. Just my 2 cents.. Jon Post Pics Of Your Masks - WilliamAbuJannah - 01-04-2005 but see that\'s what\'s always surprised me. People will pay $250. for a piece of painted latex that comes out of a mold. But don\'t want to pay $250. for a real, metal, functioning razor glove that\'s made from scratch. Each and every one has to be built by hand from scratch, there\'s no molds and no shortcuts. So I guess I\'ll never understand why someone will pay $250. for a piece of rubber that\'s alot easier to make then a glove. then again, it\'s not like I don\'t have a few $200 + plus masks in my collection. |
