What Do You Need To Paint A Hock? - Homicidal#9 - 08-25-2006 but to stay on topic in respect to Hockey Mask painting. I use the cheap ASS acryllics that fang is talking about and that Hauntmaster is putting down. While I am not a profession Hockey Mask maker, I have always enjoyed the end results of every Hockey Mask i have ever done, as have the people i have made them for. It comes down to how you want to do it and have it look...you can go the cheap and experiment, which i would suggest since you are just starting out. I wouldn\'t go looking for big boy stuff until you get the hang of things and can handle the big boy prices...just my two cents... Tommy What Do You Need To Paint A Hock? - Mutilated - 08-25-2006 I\'ve used to the cheap acrylics on every Hockey Mask I painted and my customers were NEVER disappointed, so it really doesn\'t matter expensive or not, just depends on you personally. What Do You Need To Paint A Hock? - MAGreen - 08-25-2006 I always use a few combinations of things never acrylics though, not that theres anything wrong with that,I just kind of have a technique I always stick with and its always satisfactory, using stains always gives a realy quality worn look.Theres just one thing I want to learn to do is the crackeling paint effect but only in small areas I know thers a couple of paints you have to use in combination to make this effect, anyone know what they are? I seen the process done before on a anitiqueing segment of some tv home improvement show and I always thought it would be nice to add that effect to a Hockey Mask as I have seen some people do hear. |
