It is very sad. I loved watching his shows. But, it is kinda ironic that he was killed by something that\'s relatively harmless compared to the vipers, cobras, crocs, etc. that he handled. But, I just hope that his park and conservation efforts go on.

He diddnt do stupid stuff.. he was a conservationist. He showed people like you about animals Harmless and deadly. He was the best at what he did.. Corwin, Oshea, Brady Barr.. no one compares to Steve. He did know everything about the animals he researched. He did know the risks involved. Just as you know to not speed and buckle up, but im sure you have, and you can die from it.

The man was an expert. Did I not already mention that he\'s never even taken a bite from a venomous snake. People seem to think he was just a silly risk taker. To be a herpetologist you have to interact. It was a freak accident

Braveheart was a great movie!
Really sad to hear that he died, but I would assume that would be the way he wanted to go. I really enjoyed watching his shows and he just wasn\'t a stupid risk taker. He knew what he was doing. May he R.I.P.

When i say stupid stuff with animals i ment when he put his baby right by the croc and when he puts his head in there mouths and stuff like that.thats what i mean.

LOL!! Hes never put his head in anythings mouth.You dont know shit about the man obviously. I met the guy at a reptile Expo in vero beach fla.Most down to earth and friendliest guy i have ever MET. I guess theres mixed feelings on the baby thing. I can see it from both points of view. But he was not and idiot, nor stupid.

He was a great man. I am still in shock that a non leathal sting ray killed him on a hunt for lethal animals. Cnn reported that it was a 1 in a million thing that that ray would kill you. Life just isn\'t fair. You\'ll be missed mate!
