I think everybody has to deal with shit like that until they find the right person. I've wasted a lot of time and money on men just so I can get cheated on and lied to. But, (I didn't even believe this until recently) there are actually people out there who are genuine. Hard to find, but they exist. Just stay strong - and definitely stay away from this chick - sounds like all she'll bring is more trouble.And Martoch - that picture is definitely suggestive. I think people are tempted to do things like that on occassion - but she may not be interested in going any further than just looking at the picture. She's well aware what she would be risking if she ever did go further, especially if you've let her know how you feel about her looking at that picture. I don't know you're wife, but I know you guys seem to be quite happy together, and I don't think she would risk losing that.

There are few things in life that hurt as much as losing someone you love. That being said...it definitely does suck. The only cure for this is time and distraction (albeit a temporary relief). What you have to remember is that if you block yourself off from love/relationships for too long you're actually going to hurt yourself even worse than she did. Just take some time to get things straight, but don't lose your sense of compassion and your will to love another. Getting angry and avoiding girls for too long is simply a defense mechanism. I know this because I've been avoiding them for about a year myself. I'm feeling better all the time and I couldn't have wished for a better group of friends to help me through the hard times. Adam who spoke in this thread before is one of my closest friends. He lives about 10 minutes from my house and was always there to help me last summer. In fact I went to Monster Mania shortly after the break-up and met quite a few guys from this board. While they may have not known what was going on in my personal life...each of them helped me to have a fantastic time and forget about my strife. This just goes to show you how many wonderful people there are in the world. Don't worry about finding "the right girl." I don't believe there is such a thing...truth is there are several "right girls" maybe even hundreds. We'll all eventually get to where we need to be. Just find something that makes you happy...the more well-adjusted you are...the more attractive you will be to everyone.If all else fails...listen to "No Woman no Cry" by Bob Marley and the Wailers.Cory

What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. If you can get through this, you can get through anything bro. It sucks to have your heart broken, but time will help to heal it. If it were me, I would have sex with as many girls as I could just to make me feel better about myself. that really sucks to hear man . my friend of 12 years has/had this same problem with his girlfriend which they live together and have a 2 year old with and she has cheated on him twice now . and of course both times he took her back and whenever there's a new problem he comes to me . he knows how i feel about her and i told him the last time that if he asks me what to do about her , he's not going to like what i have to say lol . i think he's stupid for staying with her and taking her BS all the time as he does more for that baby than she does and if it was me in his shoes , her crap would've been outside on the street and the locks changed . but no not him <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/down.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":down:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"down.gif\" /> . but yeah about your problem , i'd find the guy and rip him apart and make his life a living hell . oh and not sure if she still has anything at the house or not but if she does , you should have a yard sale lol mike,
