I only really cared for part 1. The others never grew on me. The unkillable killer thing was not really ever my cup of tea. I prefered films like Maniac and The Prowler where they did extreme things but where still human. The first halloween was the same way. myers was human but had a drive to kill. And the randomness of it made it believable and frightening. the injurys he sustained made it seem more real as he could be stopped if someone wanted to stop him, and in the end after he falls off the balcony after being shot it leaves you with a quick sense of security but then the uncomfortable feeling of where did he go, did he have a vest, did he miss, is he hanging onto siding etc etc etc sets in heh. It was a great horror film. But the many to follow i could do with out.just my opinionMatt
