ROFLyea i got kicked out of a theater that i called ahead of time for.. not by a manager, nor security.. a cop loltalk about embarassing, i was in the middle of a stare down with a bunch of punks and this cop pulls me aside and tells me i have to remove the mask.. so i had to do the walk of shame out of the theater.

At the very least, you can call and get free viewings of the film by promoting the film for them. If it's inside the building and a cop asks you to remove your mask, you can state that the manager has asked you to do this within his building as a film mascot.A staredown with the locals while dressed as Jason probably wasn't a good idea though.. lolAlways make sure the staff knows about you though.. ask the manager to let all employees know you're there to work. It helps because not only is the cop likely to ask an employee before accosting you, it also helps to calm any nervous customers that might start dialling 911 or spraying pepper spray when you walk up to them. You should promise the cop you won't go outside like that though. He's just trying to do his job.. if you didn't have permission, you could be starting trouble, and if you DO have permission, he's expecting someone to let him know that.I had a cop tell me I couldn't wear a stormtrooper costume at a 360 release sales party at Gamestop. I was doing a favor for a friend, (wearing his costume) and getting paid for it. I told him as much, and he said it was fine, as long as I didn't try to incite anyone, nor threaten anyone with my "fake" rifle. He liked my "fake" rifle but suggested I probably shouldn't carry it around outside though. It was a real, operating, SS (German) MG32 complete with swasticas in the handle, but I didn't tell HIM that <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /><img src=\"http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll30/lstagnetto/page1_1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> I thought I was gonna' get into a HEAP of trouble.. lol I think he knew.. judging by how he kept looking at the gun, but without the gunbelt, it's useless anyways.

If Dressing Up - JASON 7 - 02-16-2009

a stare down with local punks while your dress as Jason bet you wish you could have gave them the axe. some black kid about 13 gave me a flying kick to the back one year when i went as Jason part 7 he got a flying forearm across the chest and collar bone as i wield around and nailed him. He laid there as i walked off into the night. with my kids of course

I dont understand why anyone would care that a person inside a theater was dressed up as what ever horror film character was playing that night? I would think it would make it more fun for the patrons. I know I would think it was cool and fun to see. Whatever, people are DICKS!It reminds me of the assholes who go to Halloween Horror Nights and say if some dude trys to scare me I'll punch him. Then why the F are you here, thats his job...ASS! And yes I know some are dressing up for the movie for fun not a job, it just made me think of that.Keep up the good work guys! You look killer!Tom <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />

I called my theater ahead of time and they said it'd be fine if I dressed up. Once I got there, the manager was a complete dick to me. "YOU HAD BETTER TAKE THOSE MASKS OFF BEFORE YOU TAKE ONE MORE STEP INSIDE MY THEATER!" What a douche. I didn't even have any weapons or anything so it wasn't like I was going to hurt anyone. It's all good, though. I filed a complaint against him for being a cock.
