Quote:I\'m not picking on Aaron, just stating the facts about the biz.
Being a mask maker of 10 years, I have some sense when it comes to all of this.
My customers wait, at most a month to 6 weeks, almost always way less.
Latex is not hard to get- I know of several suppliers who can get it to you in a week at most. I buy my latex in large bulk and they can get it to me in less than 2 weeks. I\'m talking 200 + gallons of latex. So, anyone who tells you they are having trouble getting latex, are not trying too hard.
A true mask maker is dedicated to serving his customers and not trying make any excuses. I heard an old mask maker say something wise- If someone likes your work enough to pay you money for it, you should at least give the common curtosity to make the product and send it to them.
I don\'t know Aaron, so really this is not directed toward him. Just some words from the DarkSide. Thanks for reading.

Well spoken bud, very well spoken.

Well, I have waited long enough, I think. I sent Aaron an email the 14th, asking for my money back. I\'m a patient man for the most part, but this went beyond my limits.
So far, not one response back.
I guess I learned my lesson the hard way here.
I seriously hope the rest of you get something back.

I hear ya, still no word from him at all, to me, the money I spent isnt worth this waiting, and I doubt the product I recieve will take care of the wait time. Im just dissapointed now I guess....

I feel bad for you guys. Stuff like this really spoils the hobby and can make you look at the collection you\'ve got and just feel like.. eh... Why do I have this junk? Despite the looks of things, I hope everything works out for you guys.

You need to teach TheHalloweenGroup a thing or two.

Quote:Thanks for the mask offers in PMs, but after speaking with Paul from Darkside Studio for nearly 45 minutes, I ordered the Drowned Ghoul!
Big Grin

Paul is a helluva nice guy, I\'m glad I had to pleasure to speak with him and share a few Halloween/haunted house stories.  I know I\'ll have my mask in time...thanks Paul!

I still haven\'t heard from TheHalloweenGroup and I left several more messages in e-mail and by phone. I\'m so glad I ordered from the Darkside, at least now I don\'t have to wonder if I\'ll have a mask or not.
