I see what everyone's point is....its just that it doesn't matter to ME that much......I'll reserve judgement till the movie comes out anyways.....fun to debate though. And what artists like Crash and Chad do to Hockey Masks is ART in my opinon........fine art indeed...........proud to own hockey masks by both

yeah i think i'll stay out of the TCM discussion lol . but eventho i don't like the "new" hockey mask look , i'm still looking forward to seeing the movie and to see how it's made . i hope it has that retro look and feel to it as i think 1-5 had . i don't think it needs to have jason in every scene to be scary as the older ones didn't and the same goes with Jaws . you hardly saw the shark but it still scared so many people . maybe i'm just talking out of my @$$ but that's just my 2 pennies mike,

To me the Hockey Mask looks like it came off the new Mezco stylized Jason that came out recently. I'm fine with it though? I'm thinking Jason will be looking somewhat like that from the descriptions.

I'm not sure wether I like it or not yet.. can't quite make up my mind. It sure does look very similar to the final battle fvj mask! I am sure it will grow on me. I wonder who made it and painted it up, I am sure one of the frightstuff artist would have done a much better job, and it really should have come from the original movie mold. The two forehead vent holes look way of centre, or is the tri distorted??? Anyway, I am hoping the film will be good, but it will probably be a huge let down. I still don't know what to think of the halloween re-make. When I first saw the mask for that I hated it...but now It has grown on me, just need to watch the movie a few more times. I don't think it's a bad hockey mask, but as most of you said... a classic look would have been a lot better, as it's "so called" a remake of the first friday 13th, so why is the mask so highly weathered???!Does anyone have a picture of the camp crystal lake sign used in the movie, I'd love to see that! Thanks for posting pics of the mask Darren!!!!
