Myers Says Vote Obama! - ReellyScary - 10-22-2008 <!--quoteo<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecNeither of these guys are strong enough to make the tough decisions it will take to get our country back on track. I know everyone hates Bush, but if he leaves the white house and there was not even a single terrorist aattck on our soil since 911, then I can only hope the next president can do the same for us.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndAnd our current President wasn't strong enough to make the tough decisions to keep us out of the mess we are in now. Stepping up airport security and with state, local, and goverment agencies more aware of the threat from terrorists is what has made this country safer. The current President wants to sit there with that half-wit grin and say it's all because of him.A steady rise in unemployment, economic turmoil, increased U.S.debt etc. .....but, that ?.....well, that simply has nothing to do with him. No, one person elected would have have all the answers and some may say electing either candidate dosen't matter cause they will both continue to drag the country down the crapper. I say let Obama screw up the country. After 8 years of Republicans doing it it's time to let someone else have a crack at it.Sincerely and with much respect for all your opinions, Joe Six-Pack Myers Says Vote Obama! - ssj4freddy - 10-23-2008 No election is free from the political propaganda and BS. Obama is my personal choice. My main reason for choosing him is because what he's promising stands the biggest chance of happening due to the majority the dems may have in Congress. And I'm hoping that his presidency sees us getting out of this economic downturn. Myers Says Vote Obama! - ColdBlooded Killer - 10-24-2008 The race is all but over. Obama will indeed win. http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/calculator/index.htmlMcCain is really old. He remembers the Alamo!http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/52dad5773aI'm not going to get into the whole "obama is a terrorist" thing. It's not even worth talking about. Some people are just easily manipulated. If you honestly think McCain is a better choice than Obama you're either:A: A rightwing religious conservitive nutjobB: A closet racistC: A rabid NRA member who buys into the "obama wants your guns" propagandaD: Absolutely clueless on each candidate's policiesE: A person who spends entirely too much time watching Fox News Myers Says Vote Obama! - Willowman - 10-24-2008 OR:F: Don't buy into the ridiculous amount of promises he is making that he(nor anyone else) could ever deliver.I'm not saying he's a bad candidate or that McCain is any worse or better, but in all fairness, right? Myers Says Vote Obama! - ColdBlooded Killer - 10-24-2008 That doesn't apply to my list because it doesn't sound as if you honestly think McCain is better. I'm not saying Obama is the messiah of the USA or anything, but he's undoubtedly a better candidate and leader than McCain, that is unless you fall into one of the groups that I listed.Let's assume the following were true of Obama:Born in a foreign nationGraduated near the bottom of his classDivorced his first wife because she became handicappedProne to fits of rage and ill-tempermentImagine if it were Obama, not McCain who those statements were true of. The media (especially fox) would have a field day.Look, leadership counts. Obama is a very intelligent person, and you can tell he is a deep thinker. McCain is of average intelligence and is a blind patriot. Let's not forget the saying, "Pride comes before the fall." Well after 9/11 all you see is "proud to be american" sentiment everywhere while our nation is going absolutely bankrupt. McCain offers no meaningful changes from Bush's economic and foreign policies. That is why it's simply foolish to support McCain in my humble opinion. At least Obama offers a sense of hope, even if he does absolutely nothing, he'll be a far better president than Dubya Bush. Sounds like you've been reading too many anti-Obama emails and blogs. Obviously you aren't going to vote for him, so I'll just let you think what you want. Myers Says Vote Obama! - DrenTheLiar - 10-25-2008 I love how politics brings this country together...I know I started this but it was really meant to just be something to laugh at for Obama and McCain fans. As far as the race goes, all that matters to me is who will run this country better. No one is perfect and we all have faults. Even the candidates so get over that. |
