first of all, i think what happened with the freddy vs. jason movie was pretty cool. i think now they need to leave it alone and focus on getting back to the basics of the characters in their own individual movies....
as for ash... he is in a comic, cartoon type world. freddy and jason, while very exaggerated, are in a real world type setting. you can\'t put our one liner buddy ash against two evils like freddy and jason... it just won\'t mix.. i suppose if they make this film, i will just have to go on a huge killing spree rampage.....

Personally I can\'t wait for this movie, and I PRAY that it gets made all the time.
We cannot have Freddy and Jason fighting each other for like 8 movies straight, and if anyone is going to take them out then I would most certainly want it to be one of my favorite horror hero\'s.
Ash can do it, and I would rather him do it than anyone else.

I mean comeon the dude killed somone with a power glove, made out with a girl to death, made alot of one liners while he killed Alice\'s boyfriend as he was the motorcycle, and lets not forget Super Freddy... these are very frightening and make freddy a non comedic killer
. At least Ash has stayed consistent with blasting with his shotgun and cutting crap up with his chainsaw. And I have to agree with Sinister how many time can we just see Freddy vs Jason battle it with no dialog. Freddy says a one liner of some sort and Jason cocks his head and we get this over and over again. Ash can bring dialog to it. Might be somewhat cheesy or somewhat cool with both of them talking trash to eachother.

Heres what they should do to resolve this whole thing. First make a new nightmaer on elm street. Then a new Friday or Jason if you will. Then make another Evil Dead. Its simple but effective and everyone would be satisfied right? I know for a fact that i do not want to see another Vs. movie. I thought the first was decent for what it was. i went into it saying this is going to suck but they really couldnt have done anything better. So thats that and we all need to write New Line and tell them that this is a bad idea and should never be attempted. Thats just my thoughts and i know im just rambling on and on.

Good news everyone! Apparently Sam Raimi will not be letting this happen. I am so glad that he has decided not to let them use Ash. Although they may, after being turned down by Raimi, go after Myers or bubba which is just as horrible. As i said before they should stop the vs. ideas all together and make a new friday movie. just my thoughts

Yes they should stop with the Vs movies, I\'ll admit I liked FvsJ, in my opinion it was a preety Wicked film, a lotta gore, a lotta action, but lets leave it where it was, it was a good fight, both freddy and jason got in some good shots at each other, but in the end, Jason won, Newline should just leave it at that and make some more sequels. "and please lets not start a whole argument about me saying Jason won, I know theres freddy fans here who would dissagree with me on that one, But I\'am saying Jason won!! lol"

I love reading these kinda threads, because the people that talk the loudest about these kinda ideas are usually the first in line when it comes out, lol. Just like the whole JGTH thing. It seems like everybody hates this movie, but yet it is standing on everybodies shelf (of course just to finish off the collection right?).
I would love for Ash to be in this movie, even though it will probably not happen after the latest news because for the following reasons:
-it would actually make sense due to what we saw in JGTH (remember the dagger and necronomicon in Jays basement)
-it would bring a bit more freshness into the movie due to my man Bruce Campbell who is a acting genius no matter what movie he is in
-and most importantly: it would piss all those haters off and would prove them wrong in the end, yeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
That said, I want to see an old school, balls to the wall, hack and slash, slice and dice, blond big breasted camping coeds getting chased by ole Jason through the woods, 80s feel, totally predictable type F13 film sporting a nice motorhead, ozzy and the Doors soundtrack to finish it off. That would make you a few bucks Newline, just take the chance already. Who cares what Roger "Shakespeare in love rulez" Ebert says, have some cahones and make a movie for the fans already.
