Personally I liked how they made Jason smart with the traps and the little shit like the bells when he knew someone was up there, it added a lot to the movie in my opinion. More realism than the other films that's for sure, especially in the murder scenes. It wasn't over the top gore but more along the lines of how a real murder would look. I actually think that Derek played a better Jason than Kane Hodder and I never thought I would say that.

they couldve made this movie so much more than what it wasthe movie shoulda had a twist just like the 1st oneone of the great things that made the 1st one sooo good is that u didnt know when the murders were going to happen....the kills were the surprises, the scares....they couldve had the mother killing people for the first half of the film, all the while we think its jason....then boom, twist its his mom.....mom gets head cut off, we see jason witness this....take his moms head....set up his mini shrine to mother....then he starts killing, wears the bag, gets the Hockey Mask...etc etc....i say, where was the suspense? the twist? was there even one dead body thrown threw a window?!...i cant recall...
