Look man im not trying to hijack this thread or your mask.. but shit will change.. everyone knows that.. i know.. and i think EVERYONE here knows mike knows what to do.. his paint has improved a great deal.. ill agree... just my opinion on the whole diamond/ruff.

It\'s no problem. It was a legit curiosity. I\'m all about answering these things.
Mike is no stranger to molds, and he IS doing the best he can to keep the generation, size, shape, and everything else intact in these replicas. I wouldn\'t have it any other way. I actually ordered a few from him, myself. 0
That said, as far as the paint job goes, his LE part 6 editions seem to be pretty popular amongst the members here...For these new replicas, he\'s taking that same LE idea, but we\'re going to try to be more accurate to the STYLE of the paintjobs and how they are applied moreso than the color, which he\'s basically already nailed anyway.

well jason v has a point the stone will shrink ultra cal shrinks the least and if kept in the mold til its fully dried out should clear that prb up ,,but there is no way to tell my looking if it shrinked since it would be so little...another thing that can be done is a resin used to make the buck theres some that dotn skrink at all i\'ll check into those

Every think of casting the buck in a flexible medium? I\'ve tried to cast a buck from the neg end of a plastic mold before and had a hell of a time getting it out but I\'m sure it\'s possible, but something like silicone could probably cast a better buck with no shrinkage.
