I was under the impression that the copper for those pieces was pretty thick. being flemsy seems like the glove wouldn't be as durable. I suppose it doesn't HAVE to be since it's just part of the costume, though...<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndThey are made of a heavy gauge copper but even if you cut copper into thin strips, the metal can be pretty malleable. It's a pretty durable yet soft metal.

I suppose it's the hand movement that causes the pieces to bend. with there being no bottom rings, it has nothing to keep it straight.

This remake is going to kick a$$!-Chris<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndI agree. Freddy is pure evil in this film. I love how he toys with the victim..."Why are you screaming? I haven't even cut you yet."Getting into the head of his victim and terrorizing him/her. As if Freddy thinks there's no reason to be afraid or scream until he actually cuts them... which he says he will when he used the word "yet". Imagine being held captive and the people holding you say "It's not time for us to kill you yet." That messes with your head, man... knowing that your death is coming soon... and it's probably going to REALLY suck.

just an interesting detail the glove that is now seen in the book is a tiny bit different that the actual glove Freddy is wearing.in the book the thumb looks like it also has a copper riveted armature on it, while the thumbs on the original gloves that are build by Joe D Mack don't have this thumb feature on them.

Personally, I think it sounds nothing like Rorschach. Similar (for the obvious fact that it is Jackie Earl), but if you really listen, it's hardly the same. At first listen, I thought the same, but watch it again with the volume up. He gave more of a dark, deep tone to it. Not as raspy and high as Rorschach.I know I'm most likely going to be hurt horribly by the final version of the film, but I'll enjoy the thrill of the trailer while it lasts.
