I highly recommend picking up a copy. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\" ![]() The Friday The 13th Props Collection - Mario - 02-23-2009 A couple new pieces were added over the last time. Some of them are two new machetes used in Freddy vs Jason. A stunt rubber machete and a FX machete. I`m now happy to say that I have all variations of this Jason`s weapon of joy. The hero version, stunt and FX. This is the special effects machete (right picture) that allowed the "flying FX" shot. It has some tiny tubes running along the blade and a small hole on the hand guard where a wire was pulled through so that they could slide the machete on the wire and it appeard as if its flying. There is still the Propmasters original tape sticking to the handle reading the exact scenes it was used in. I plan to set it up in the Museum so that I can make it go from one end of the room to the other. Should give a killer display. Also newly added yesterday is Chuck`s yellow colored shirt worn by David Katims in Part 3. This shirt is from the collection of Mike Becker. I have a few pretty nice items coming in from Freddy vs Jason and will add them over the next weeks. Enjoy browsing.Mario The Friday The 13th Props Collection - Mario - 03-11-2009 New article online. Visit the news section HEREAlso, maybe this is of interest to you, here a little update from the Friday Props Museum. I just finished the latest display. To begin with, I wanted to introduce you to my machetes from Freddy vs Jason. main hero, rubber stunt, flying FX and air/blood FX. Each machete for different purposes on screen. The new display is about the "flying FX machete". I talked about this machete in a previous post here. The prop is most prominentely seen in the boiler room scene and also in the corn field scene. It matches up on screen pervectly.Well, and here is the according dipslay for this machete. This way you can slide the prop from one end to the other just as they did back during the actual production. Of course the rope was CGI`d out for the final film. Looks pretty cool in person!! The steel rope runs through the machete. There is a shaft insert into the blade and the grip, leading the rope. Mario The Friday The 13th Props Collection - hummie12 - 03-11-2009 Very cool to see Mario.
