Nightmare On Elm Street Teaser! - DAKAZA - 09-29-2009

I doubt they would be stupid enough to make him a totally sympathetic character. However, I'm still very worried that he might only be a child molester and not a child killer. Although that quick shot of the little girl's dress with claw marks through it gave me some hope. Based on that still, it would seem logical that he was, in fact, a child killer as well. Is my logic off?

But his methods of molestation involved unthinkable abuse and objects on his victims. The concept of Freddy coming back for revenge is still there but it's revenge on the kids he abused when they were preschool-aged instead of coming back and killing the kids of the parents who burned him alive. I think Freddy's mad that the kids told on him and that the parents burned him alive.

These remakes prove Hollywood is lacking in the originality department as of late.....

King Kong and Dracula needed to be remade as the originals were made over 50 years ago, the art of film making has improved so much since then..... However the original Nightmare still holds up to this day. Does not need to be remade. Just my 2 cents. And really comparing Nightmare to King Kong and Dracula is an unfair comparison. Those 2 are legends in the history of cinema.

With the blu-ray and hi-def versions coming out on DVD, the screen shots will be incredibly detailed. The story still holds up, but comparing quality of 2 films made almost 30 years apart is no different really to comparing the afore mentioned ones made 50 years apart.I am of course reffering to film quality, camera techniques and spec etc, not the acting

This seems as if it actually might be good and actually scary. For once I think I'm going to be excited for a remake!
