This is the 12th Jason film; 11th if you don\'t count Freddy Vs. Jason, and 9th if you go by the Friday the 13th title.
- New Line is behind this project.
- The film will be released on Friday the 13th.
- This prequel will tell details the origins of the infamous Jason Voorhees.
