do any of you know where exactly the TCM remake house is?(city, address) a map would help. I\'m thinking on visiting it on spring break. do they even allow people to go in the house or near it? I need as much info as possible.

I heard they moved it from the original location , and now its a restraunt (of all things!) with everything still the same inside..... not sure if thats completelty true or not ....If you start googling TCM you should find a fairly good fansite that some guy put together with all the trivia ins and outs that your looking for....lots of photos and all that.

The remake house is on the outskirts of Austin, it is unaccessable and guarded at the drive. With a good telephoto lens you can get some nice photos.
Now, you can go the Cele, and visit the gas station from the remake...great BBQ on Fri\'s and Sat. Very creepy place though!!

LOL, no just mistaken...the original house was in fact moved and is now a restraunt...the REMAKE house has not.

The house used in the remake is in austin texas, the people who own the house live right behind the remake house and will literally shoot anyone who goes on their property. The only way your getting in the remake house is to see if you can pay them to go in and check it out or if you have the balls to sneak in, lol.
