Anyone Catch Ice T.'s Cult S**t Show - JOEY - 04-10-2006
I saw previews of it over the last couple of days and then I caught it Sat. night. His show was about him showing clips of his favorite cult shows/films over the last few decades. Alot of Shaft scenes. Then, later in the show, he brings up Jason.
"You got to know who the f**k Jason is!"
Show him knocking off Julius\' head in part 8. Then the sleeping bag kill from part 7. "Batter up!" Talked about how he\'s the #1 with appearing in the most films, 11.
The clips didn\'t last too long, but it was cool to see Jason get recognized like that.

Ice T is actually a really really big horror fan. One of the very first episodes of cribs went to his home and it was covered with horror actions figures and masks and props. He had a lifesize predator as well as a bunch of other stuff...

Yeah, I believe he owns some Myers and Jason sculps or something.
And about that show, I was actually interested in watching it all the way through. But it was getting late, and I had work the next day. I figured that it would be nothing I havn\'t seen already. But yes, it is still cool to see that on VH1.

alot of \'hip hop guys\' are into 80\'s horror movies and scarface. that\'s why I get upset when I see people say Bustah Rhymes had no business being in a Halloween movie, or L.L. Cool J shouldn\'t have been in a Halloween movie.
I know a couple black guys that love horror movies for the same reasons we do. Cool costumes, cool monsters, and folks getting there, "MaFu*kin back broke!!"
I\'m realizing there\'s a huge generation of people that grew up watching those 80\'s movies and are just hooked on em. And the younger people who didn\'t grow up with them are starting to discover them and realize that \'really there\' is way cooler then CGI.
Jason, Michael, Freddy and bubba are the Dracula, Werewolf, Mummy and Frankenstien of our generation.
Some of the \'elders\' can\'t understand why we fill our collections with Myers and hockey masks? We can\'t understand why they fill their collections with old Legosi Dracs and Karloff Franks. I love Drac, Frank, Werewolf and the Mummy. And I do dig the movies. But at the end of the day if it comes down to choosing between a hockey mask or an old Dracula mask,......I gotta go with the Hockey Mask.
