'dead Pilot' sculpture Pics... - andrew santagato - 08-27-2006 Pretty much done with this guy. The eyes WILL be looking up and to the left. These were used strictly as forms. These pics are especially for my good buddy Rich, who I told I would post for him to see, along with Justin and Ben. Hope you guys are havin\' a blast at MM!! My cousins tripod is busted, so I had to prop the camera up on cd\'s. I\'ll be tweaking the eyelids to make them blend in better with the top of the cheek-bone. And YES, the eyes are definitely a little too close together. That will be fixed immediately. When I got to the \'fine-tuning\' of this piece, I was rushed, because of the prospect of a project coming up, so my mind was elsewhere. I wasn\'t paying attention to the finer details. That\'s why I posted these pics. Usually, I just finish a piece, and post pics of it. I may later post pics of the sculpture, etc, but I usually post pictures of the finished product first. Because my heads been up my a&$ recently, I was going quickly at the end of this sculpture, and after it was done, there were things about it that pissed me off. The eyes mainly. Thanks for the honest critique guys and gals. I appreciate it. This guy will be dressed (white dress shirt), so there ain\'t a lot of detail going into what you won\'t see.
