Thick Latex Question - Hackdroot - 09-21-2006

Hey all,

I am down to the bottom of a 5 gal bucket of 407 and it\'s been sitting for several weeks. I opened it today and its quite thick now. Is it still usable in this state or should I thin it, or reserve it for something else (like building up pulls once the first layers have been poured)? How do you thin it anyway?

Thanks.

-Eric

I find it harder to drain the mold when the latex is too thick. I have a bucket now that I thinned with water slowly. Ammonia is good to add too. Don\'t go nuts though.. Too thin and the water content will be too high for the stone to soak up properly

If I have an old unopened bucket of latex (two years old..) is it still good? Or do I toss it? (Sorry to hijack the thread...but it\'s the same topic)
