Is it worth the money? I\'ve been debating on getting one for awhile now, just want to know exactly what ALL it does, it\'s features.

Thanks ahead of time.

If you\'re going to get a psp, you\'ll need to get one with the 1.5 firmware. This way you can play homebrew applications and games, and even run emulators. If you\'re worried about using all the new features, there is a program that emulates the newest firmwares on your 1.5 system, which means you get it all. You\'ll have to get one on ebay or ioffer though. Make sure you get one with the SHARP lcd screen, not the Samsung. The Sharp lcd screen is far superior to the Samsung, in that it\'s brighter and sharper.

Well, i guess it just me, but i have one and its in the box collecting dust, i used it a few times when i first got it but then i decided i would rather play it at home and if i was out i would be out for a reason meaning i couldnt just chill somewhere and play it, but its a great little device the graphics are litterally (to me) as good as on the ps2 but i didnt care to much for the button control setup, the joy stick was uncomfortable to use as well, and after a while it gaive me a head ache watching the screen so much, but if you like compact portable multi media devices i would highly recomend it, good luck with the decision, and if you decide i have it all boxed and stuff, someone wanted to buy it but they didnt reply to me, so pm me if your interested, its a bundle btw, Ty

personally i think it\'s a waste of money . my friend has one so i know the functions and all but still it\'s over priced , you can\'t do anything during the day because the sun glares off of it , the movies on there are overpriced and there\'s no special features on them for the people that like to watch that kinda stuff after the movie , the games aren\'t the best either besides the metal gear but you won\'t see me buying a system for just 1 game . save your money and get one of the next gen consoles .

mike,

Mine collected dust at first, but with the recent games coming out for it, I\'ve broke it out. I also can connect to the net because of my wireless adapter, and that is really awesome!

I\'d say it isn\'t worth the money. It tries to be an ipod, a portable media player and a game console and it does all of the jobs poorly. I haven\'t touched mine in months, I don\'t think any of the games translate into portable at all. I\'d say get a DS, its not as powerful but the games are more fun.

I wouldn\'t buy it for movies, just something to do at work (Internet and games).
