be very careful how you list your masks. i got mine booted off for copyright crap. so i changed my title and description. then i get this strange email yesterday. if you notice the way it\'s setup the respond will be posted directly to the listing. i thought it was really a weird . why else would someone ask the stupid shit this person asked unless it\'s a way of tripping a person up into admitting on a public forum what the mask truly is.

Hi There, Just out of curiousity, how come the auction is titles Not Jason Hokcy Maks, when it looks like one? I am just curious to know, that\'s all. Anyway, is this one close to the mask that they used in FREDDY VS. JASON? Also, will this mask last a life time where the paint will stay on, and it will always be wearable just as long as I take care of it? Please let me know... Thanks!

here is my responds
the mask should last a life time as long as your not to crazy with it. most people use these masks as a display piece or for their halloween costume. the weathering effect has been sealed with a matte finish.if you think the mask looks like any particular movie character it is by sure coincidence.

Is it really as simple as putting "NOT jason mask" or is there more to it? I was actually contacted by some pencil pusher at Warner Brothers when I tried to sell my NFX combo last year and he removed my auction and said I\'d be banned from ebay if I tried it again! I honestly think they pick people at random, because some are clearly stating the names etc, and they don\'t get shit done to them. Mine stated it was a replica and I still got taken off because I said Freddy and Jason in the same context. If anyone has tips on effective ways to list them without getting pulled, let me know!

Demand the immidiate reinstatement of ebay item 3833351378 upon recipt of this e-mail, if this is not done so i will seek my own leagal recourse on this mater. My Listing in no way infringes on warner brothers-new line cinema- or paramount pictures . My listing clearly states this. Any refrence to any of the intelectual propertys of the affore mentioned companys is for refrence purpouses only. This is my artwork and my creation therefor you CANNOT remove my listing. This was what was stated in my ebay listing:"My work is not Affiliated with Paramount pictures,or New Line cinema, nor is it implied. theese items are to be concidered Artwork.Any refrence to the above mentioned are for refrence purpouses only!!!!!!" . JASON Property without the express written permission of New Line. The costume which you have offered for sale has not been authorized by New Line, therefore we suspended your auction. I apologize for the inconvenience of your suspended auction, however, I hope that you understand our position. Further, please be assured that we never attempt to single-out any one, or group of, sellers. In that regard, please feel free to forward any questionable auctions to our attention and we will be sure to investigate and take appropriate action. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Once again u seem to not be listening to my argument but spiting out legal jargon in order for you to make what you have done justified.
My auction clearly stated it was in no way affiliated with your "Sister company" even going as far as to name "new line" and "Paramount pictures", I also explained in the auction that my costume was my own personal artwork and that any connection to the Freddy Vs Jason- Jason- Or Friday the 13th was totally for reference purposes only. In addition, I never once mentioned in my auction "Freddy VS Jason"-- it was stated as "Jason VS Freddy"
Now, unless you have copyrighted both titles--then once again I do not see the problem with my auction. Granted this is quite petty, but so are you accusations that I am trying to defraud your affiliate. I am not Violating Any copyrights. Or infringing on anyone else\'s "intellectual properties" --- as for "Reporting anyone else who does the same" Yeah right! I say more power to the little guy! You will not loose any money from fan costumes\masks based on an idea from films, in fact we do you nothing but a service, concider it free advertisment "hey that guy looks like the guy from that movie--I have been Meaning to buy that movie." as an example. Once again, You need to reinstate my auction without haste. I will gladly remove any refrence to "jason VS freddy"and "freddy VS Jason" as a goodwill measure, as it is the only connection to new line I can conceivably have made! I would hate to have to escalate this issue legally. I feel I am completely in the right with my argument and I do indeed see your point and in this e-mail am making an attempt to make things right. I hope you do the same.
