I actually prefer fishing from a shaded area myself.....I HATE going out in a boat all day in the heat. Especially when nothings biting. I actually prefer to fish for catfish because the 20-30 pound suckers put up one heck of a fight. Awesome. I fish as often as possible; have since I was a kid. Mostly we only have catfish in the turd water around here, but I tend to fish for bass or perch whenever possible.

Thanks everyone!You nailed it Voorhees Curse...lol. We also set out bush hooks and trout lines at the river for catfish. I will have to post a pic of the two flatheads we caught last year.Martoch, We caught them on live minnows because the stubborn things wouldnt hit anything else. Where do you live?

Live bait never fails!
