I thought I might try this again. About....6-7 years ago I think. Maybe a little longer, I was watching A Nightmare on Elm Street 4. Me and a friend had rented it on vhs, and during the fight at the end with ALice, Freddy says "I am eternal.", but, it was unedited. He said "I am f$#king eternal." rather than having that awkward silenced out lip movement we see now. Has anyone else ever seen a version that was uneditied? Anyone know where I might find a copy?

The next time you watch NOES 4, look how awkward it looks when he says "I am eternal." I wish I could track down that copy I rented. There's also a scene towards the end of 5 thats been edited. I've never seen a version that wasn't editied, but when he looks like the boyfriend and says, "Kids, always a disappointment.", you'll notice he mouths something before disappointment.

Yeah i also noticed that too now that you mention it ..although i have never seen one where it was unedited but there was a akward silence in 5 as well

editing is okay when used properly if i offended anyone i didn't mean to but NOES4 is better when its not edited because we know he's mouthing it.

I noticed that after you told me some time ago too, Justin. Even the line 'I am eternal' is over-dubbed to sound really .. akward? It's like he paused after 'I am' and had to hurry and pop in the 'eternal' part. But, like others here, I don't understand why that's edited out when the movie is rated-R and makes use of that word several other times.
