Hey peeps. Been kicking the idea around for months now, and I'm currently looking for a job that can pay decently. I have two kids, the second being born in January, and quite honestly I use to make a great living doing what I do. Unfortunately, the market has been flooded with a lot of glove makers and quite honestly to compete, I would have to practically give my stuff away. And I know the quality of my work. Can't do it. Hell, I won't do it. I plan on hitting 2 cons this year. Flashback and MM, but unless something incredible occurs, I will only do props part-time, if at all, for extra cash. Do I want to quit? No. But I have to think of my kids first and foremost. They are my life. Empty promises and dishonest ppl don't feed my kids and pay the bills. I will still take orders until I land a job I want, and will meet those orders as soon as possible. If things get better, I may stick around a little longer, but honestly it will be tough. I have a few orders left to get out and they will be honored before any. They are almost done anyhow. - Mark

That'll be a sad day Mark, Your work is outstanding, but i know exactly where you're coming from. My son is MY life and your kids come before ANYTHING and ANYBODY! Good luck to you mate, whatever you decide to do, I'm sure all the guys will understand as most of us have kids! guess i fall under the empty promises catagory.... sorry to hear this man, i seriously hope something changes and you can continue to make gloves. it would be a shame to lose a great maker because the market is flooded and buyers choose to pick up lesser quality gloves just cuz there cheap... good luck Mark.

Knowing Mark personally, and especially since I know the quality of his product...this is truly sad news. Mark, I wish you nothing but the best in whatever you decide to do.
