If you're dressed as Freddy...metal blades or not...I think the cops are going to realize that it's a costume. If you're looking for a good glove that's not real...you're only option is going to have to be to go for the cheapo plastic one. The real ones are movie PROPS bro, they're not sharp. If you did get hassled by the police or something, all you'd have to do is show them and you're good. I mean they're not going to arrest you or anything over it. Look at me...I'm going as Jason this year and I'm taking a replica machette. It's not sharp but it's metal and looks real...if a cop sweats me I'll just show him...but like I said before bro...in full costume gear...I think they're smart enough to realize that it's just that...a costume piece. I hope this helps you but if not...then good luck in your search. On a side note...that SPFX Fred mask deserves a real glove...not some cheapo knock off man. Just my two cents though.-Joseph Does Anyone Make A High Quality Freddie Glove That Is Not Real - Jason-V - 09-16-2007 There was a member here... who made plastic gloves that looked real.. i cant remember his name though. Seems like anders made on as well... Does Anyone Make A High Quality Freddie Glove That Is Not Real - imperialhockmaster - 09-16-2007 If your worried about getting in trouble, you dont have to, they are only illegall if they are sharpened, at least in most states, you may just want to contact your local police dept, im sure they will let ya know for sure, but then again they may not be right either, as they mostly enforce laws not make them, im sure you have nothing to worry about, and like my bro Joe said that mask definately deserves the real deal!!! GOODLUCK!!! Does Anyone Make A High Quality Freddie Glove That Is Not Real - cityofdisaster - 09-16-2007 Look on ebay or at your local Halloween store. They are mass producing these metal freddy gloves that actually look pretty decent! If they are being sold in stores, then you won't be the only one sporting one. You shouldn't have any probs. You can get them on ebay for $35-40. It's gonna make last years look like a joke - cops will be following us the whole time like they did last year to keep an eye on things. True they arent sharp, but they are pointy as hell and definately can be considered a weapon. If i cant find a good prop one i'll go with the real one and have the cheap one as a back up if cops hassle me. It causes such a commotion i just dont want to give the cops a reason to shut us down.you tube times square oneYou Tube Times Square Two Does Anyone Make A High Quality Freddie Glove That Is Not Real - dean7879 - 09-16-2007 i only have a part 1 for sale. pm if interested. its not sharp, but the end is pointy.you will be ok if you take your id with you Does Anyone Make A High Quality Freddie Glove That Is Not Real - SlasherHouse - 09-16-2007 Just round the tip off with a grinder, then you should be set. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Does Anyone Make A High Quality Freddie Glove That Is Not Real - Homicidal#9 - 09-16-2007 i noticed in a halloween store yesterday that they actually have 3 different gloves for sale. First, there is the super cheap version that is very obviously weak looking and plasticy looking. Next was the all metal deluxe one. Finally, they had another plastic one that looked actually pretty darn nice all things considered. I first thought it was the metal one until i really looked at it closely....check that one out and see if it is something you could use...Tommy Does Anyone Make A High Quality Freddie Glove That Is Not Real - Dr Channard - 09-16-2007 <!--quoteo(post=238368:date=Sep 16 2007, 09:23 AM:name=Homicidal#9)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(Homicidal#9 @ Sep 16 2007, 09:23 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecFinally, they had another plastic one that looked actually pretty darn nice all things considered. I just picked one up - it's made by Rubies, $12.99 - the blades are REALLY bright chrome looking but with some custom painting enhancements to dull it down and dirty it up i think it will pass off pretty well. I'm gonna keep my metal blades at home, we're not looking for any reason for the cops to shut us down and you never know someone could get poked with it or something. Thanks, this one will pass off fine <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\" ![]() |
