Halloween Double Feature - IbDaToNeGuY - 10-31-2007

well i just got back from it and i must say it was awesome upuntil the part where Jamie and Rachel were climbing out of the window to get onto the roof because the film stopped lol . then said that it was intermision and Halloween 5 would start very soon . even tho there were only like 15-20 people there , we were still complaining somewhat and some made a few funny comments as most people were laughing at me . so we sit through the intermision and H5 starts . we think everything is going ok until the film stops again right after Myers gets out of the river . so then myself and my friend get up and are ready to get our money back but then somebody comes in and lets us know that it will be fixed and start where H4 left off at and we would all get a free pass to see any movie we want the next time we go . but overall it was awesome as everyone there were adults and you didn't have to sit through stupid people talking through the whole movie or have cell phones on too . man it was cool seeing H4 in theatres for the first time but seeing H5 on the big screen again brough back memories . even if i was only 6 the first time lol . mike,P.S. i even took a pic of the ad on the screen for the double feature lol

That sucks that the films stopped, but at least they fixed it. Glad you had a good time. I have to ask, though...weren't they just DVD projections of the films? I know the same company put on the special showing of Halloween last year and I was quite disappointed that it was just a DVD being projected onto the screen. Same with Nightmare on Elm Street that September. Anyway, I really wanted to go to the H4 and H5 double feature but after I found out the same company was doing it I passed....I got to see them both during their original runs anyway <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />

they must have been on a DVD system because when the H5 stopped , the screen looked like a computer screen because i saw the start button at the lower left corner . lol my friend kept saying it was in HD because he couldn't see all that crap that you normally see on film . mike,

That's what I was afraid of. They were remastered in HD in conjunction with Monsters HD, but still...I think it's a bit misleading when they advertise a movie and make no mention that it's not a 35mm print. Did the picture take up the entire screen? That was another problem with Halloween last year...it only took up about 60% of the available screen. And you could totally tell it was a digital projection...they use the projectors that show the ads before movies, so I doubt they are of the best quality. At least you had a good time...that's all that counts. I kind of wish I had gone just for the crowd reaction, but that's ok. I actually caught a double feature of Evil Dead 2 and Return of the Living Dead on Sunday night at a local art house theater...they were real prints too, complete with scratches <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />
