Anyone have this? How realistic does it actually look? I seen the ones with metal blades, but as some have stated here not all venues let you in with metal blades. So I was wondering what the best plastic ones were. http://www.halloweenasylum.com/index.asp?P...&ProdID=962

I kind of feel like I'm leaving you a useless post since I couldn't find any pictures, but Rubies makes a very realistic looking plastic glove. It looks almost exactly like the Rubies Metal Deluxe glove. Personally I don't care for that glove, but I was blown away by the plastic one. As a matter of fact I was so blown away that at first I thought that it was the metal one until I saw the price on it. I think you can score one for around 15 bucks or so.However if you don't want to go there, then I'd say the glove you found should suit you just fine.-Joseph

When I worked at Halloween USA, I seen these and actually thought they were real metal. Worth the cash I would say.

I hate that Rubies deluxe metal glove. One of the blades flung out and wont set back in anymore...

Is the one I listed the Rubies one?

It's $14 why is there a debate? It not like it's $150.

I've got both the plastic and metal versions and was very impressed with both considering they are what they are. And for the price. Only thing that could have made them better would be if the blades weren't flat sided. I also had a blade fall off my metal glove while clanging them together. If I was 100% sure it was really copper I would just solder some better blades to it.

Even tried epoxy! Isn't the copper real?

Freddy Glove - Realistic Plastic - horrorconcepts - 11-13-2007

It look's to be real copper, But may just be diecast or something and treated to look like copper? Only way that I would feel 100% sure would be to cut into it and see.
