It's made of hard foam which in my opinion can't be good, especially if you've got little kids or friends who like to touch stuff. Also, I don't like the look of the face at all. It looks nothing like pinhead except for the costume itself and the pins in his head. For the amount of money they are charging for him I would opt for something else. The only down side is, not a lot of people do a latex or leather version of the costume so it may be kind of hard to find if you were set on doing a full size pinhead display. Personally I love the Hellraiser movies, that's why I would be more apt to stay away from this. I couldn't justify to myself spending almost 400 bucks after shipping charges for something that's not very accurate. If I did get something like that, I'd definitely cut the head from it and put on a realistic pinhead bust, but still that leaves you with the problem of it being made of foam, hard or not. Foam over time is a lot like latex in the sense that it will absorb mositure over time and eventually start to break it down, only rather than melting it would just begin to flake off and you'd be going nuts trying to touch up the spots. If you do get one you're also going to have to take special care when cleaning him when he gets a little too dusty. Certain chemicals will instantly begin to melt the foam as soon as it soaks through the protective clear coat. Anyway brother, I hope this helps you out on making your decision, but in the end you're the one who's interested so if it looks like something you could enjoy, then go with it brother.-Joseph Hellraiser - LeatherfaceFan07 - 12-09-2007 ^I'm with him. It doesn't look very accurate. The only thing I think is good if the price. I think it's reasonable considering an accurate one could go for a heck of a lot more. Hellraiser - knewby - 12-09-2007 If its the same one (and it sure looks like it) that was for sale at Halloween express this year, don't waste your money. It looked horrible in person, just horrible. Hellraiser - Horror4Ever - 12-09-2007 Thanks guys, year it didn't look very accurate at all in the pics, i just wanted to see if anyone else owned one and i for sure will not buy unless i got it for a very lower price!! |
