Thanks for the compliments Smile My plan is to maybe do prints and t-shirts of all of the major horror characters if enough interest generated. Wink

Cool Design. Not to cut in on your action, but I had a similar idea a couple months ago. I posted it here, but no one commented. So here you go. Maybe you can let me know what you think. Just something I whipped up quick messing around in photoshop.

Darth Veach,

Hi. In all honesty, Andy Warhol was doing "pop art" before any of us. Wink I am sure that everyone has seen the Campbell\'s soup cans, Elvis and Marilyn Monroe done in different colors on a canvas. I have been "sitting" on these designs for about a year along with some other horror-related projects. I have different versions of all the "main" horror characters. Thanks for the compliments. Smile I like your layout and choice of colors.

Take care,

Ummm ok. Thanks?? Huh
Considering I was an art major in high school and college, I guess I just took it for granted that people would know THAT\'s where I got my idea. My bad. Andy Warhol was the man, and yeah maybe I should have clarified that mine was a rough take on his Marilyn Monroe stuff, but I guess I thought that was a given. Of course it wasn\'t MY idea. Pop art was not only revolutionized by Warhol, but also the likes of Roy Lichtenstein (one of my favorites), David Hockney, and Keith Haring. Not to mention some of the talented people doing it today like Robert J. Kelly and Allison Lefcort. Heard of them? Yeah, it wasn\'t my idea. I give much respect to all my influences. Don\'t mean to sound harsh, but it seemed as though you thought I didn\'t know that or what I was talking about.

Darth Veach,

Sorry if I offended you... Based on past experiences, I don\'t assume that everyone knows about the "pop art" movement or anything for that matter, regardless of there level of education or background. I have known people who couldn\'t tell the difference between a painting found in a "dollar store" and a "Rembrant" hanging in a museum. Yes, I have heard of the artists that you mentioned including the "masters" of the movement, Lichtenstein, Hockney and Haring. For the record, I been an artist for 20 years and have been creating minimalist wall sculpture for the past 8 years. Again, I apologize, if I offended you.

Take care,

George
