Hey everyone,Well, after dealing with the bloody snow, and working on this guy in between, I've managed to finally squeeze out the Prototype for my new SH1 mask (Santagato H1). For those that don't know, this is my new H1 mask, based LARGELY on Ken Hertlein's infamous RARE mask that he did long before the DW/KH came out. MANY reference pics of the mask were used. I also have some footage of it from '01 at a Con in Cleveland. I've also seen it twice personally. Using my photographic memory, and of course, the reference material that I had, I came up with this piece. I should also mention that the famous 'closet' scene from H1 was used as reference for this mask as well, as the RARE looks pretty much 'bang on' to the way that the mask looks in that scene, IMHO.First and foremost, I have to thank Mr. Ken Hertlein himself, for his honest critiques, and great advice. The same goes for my good friend Dick Warlock, who, at the beginning of this project, pulled no punches! lol. I also have to thank Justin Mabry, for once again providing his insight and knowledge, and for giving me some great tips, my man Tommy for also throwing some great advice my way in regards to the hair, and Jon L and Rich (Dahone) for giving me some honest critiques of this guy while it was 'in progress'.This mask will be available at MM.NET, so keep an eye on the 'home' page.
