Monster Of Piedras Blancas - FlugMi - 04-19-2008
I posted this over at the HMA a little while ago, and immediately got 3 people interested... so Im posting here also.I did a monster of piedras blancas sculpt years ago and put the mold away in storage after only a couple pulls. ( it was SO freaking BIG and heavy) Recently, the mold was taken out, cleaned and made a nice master from it. I will be making a production mold from the master in the next few days...so I can make one copy for a friend. I wanted to check here to see if there is ANY interest in this ? I can do a small run of 4 or 5 of these if so. Price will be around $150 each painted either green or black and white. $100 for a blank pull. email or post a response and let me know,. hey thanks for the comment on "old Fountain face"... It seems like <u>most </u>of the collectors who like this piece are guys who have actually lived long enough to know who this monster is.... guys who might remember the movies release or grew up with these monsters. This movie was released in 1959 when horror was much different. MOST Of the members here werent even BORN then !.. I wasnt, but I like those films even though they arent from MY childhood years... I didnt <i>always</i> like the old horror either. Its something that I started watching to put myself to sleep and got hooked on.
