Hey everyone,Finished these 3 up a couple of weeks ago, but have been so busy that I haven't had the time to post these pics until now.As most of you guys know, I'm a sucker for 'production' shots. I love seeing them from other artists, and I pretty much always post my own when I'm ready to show one of my NEW 'creations'. Well, here are some of my S H1 mask.These are the first 3. #1 has already been sold, but the other 2 are available, and ready to go. For those interested, pm me for info.For those that haven't been around for a bit, this is basically a 'tribute' to Ken Hertlein's RARE mask. Ken's a good friend of mine, and actually gave me some great advice and tips when sculpting this mask. I also had the use of many photos, along with some 'home video' footage I shot of the RARE back in '01. To me, Ken's RARE mask basically looks like the H1 when being worn by TLW, which is what I went for as well when sculpting this piece. I had previously mentioned, after I showed the 'Prototype', that I wanted to change a few things, which I've done. The paint scheme has been matched to look like the copy of the RARE that Ken owns, NOT Mr. Warlock's copy, as the paint scheme on his looks very 'silvery'. There are also the 'velcro strips' attatched to the back, which the RARE, and of course, the DW/KH masks have. The hair, for those that don't know, is 'hand-dyed' Mohair.I sent pic's to Ken when these were done, and he wrote back saying that he loved them, which was great to hear, obviously.The following pics basically show the blanks, the 'KIRK' base paint-up, and then the 'finished' masks.
