Jason Lives - Savage - 06-10-2008

I am a huge fan of Jason Lives, but every time i get a chance to watch it, I notice yet another mistake. Just after Jason breaks out of the flame engulfed RV, if you look closely, you will see he has the bullethole in the forehead of his mask, which isn't made until the end of the film when he gets shot by Mike Garris. Also, when he is fighting Tommy in the lake, there is no bullethole in the mask, and in the next shot there is! This is a great movie, but why did they make so many mistakes in the Friday's, and leave them in??????

To be frank... most horror films are loaded with errors. Some more than others and especially films with sequel after sequel... the editors and film crew don't seem to take the process as seriously and let things go. That is to say if they even knew there were problems to begin with. I could point out error after error in Nightmare on Elm Street 1... even though it was the best film of the series. It's something I've always noticed and wish things were done better as well.

Jason Lives - Crash - 06-10-2008

Not anything to do with Jason Lives, but my favorite entry of he series Part 3 is loaded with bloopers too. There is a VERY interesting and revealing scene in part 3 that is pretty cool. We all know that a scene was cut from the film regarding Chris and Rick running into Abel (the old guy in the road) in the woods on their way back to the cabin after Chris' Academy Award winning flashback sequence (LOL!). Some even say that scene was never filmed even with photographic proof. BUT . . . take a look at the final few frames of the scene where Rick and Chris are walking and Rick says "What was that noise" and looks off-camera to our left. Just after Chris responds to him, they turn to walk off-screen to our right. Just before it cuts to another scene back at the house, pay special mind to the front of Chris' jacket. A "mysterious" shadow falls across her chest of someone wearing a wide-brimmed hat and it sure ain't Indiana Jones! It's the shadow of Abel. I'm assuming that scene would've paid off with a quick "cheap scare" of them running into him and then they would've had their little conversation. Cool huh? Check it out if you've never noticed it. Slo-mo or Frame-by-Frame might be helpful.

I think the biggest flop of the series is that Jason's good eye simply switches sides halfway throughout the series, lol

Thanks Crash, I never noticed that, I will look out for it!!

Abel, wasn't he the one with the eyeball?Part 6 did have a few bloopers that I heard of, but never looked closely at the Hockey Mask for bullet hole damage before it should of been there. I'll pay attention next time I watch.

Jason Lives - Crash - 06-10-2008

Yeah, Abel was the eyeball guy. "I have warned thee!" LOL!It's cool to find bloopers or continuity errors in these movies just for fun's sake. You can't really blame anyone, just because of the conditions they were shot under. I remember the magically appearing/re-appearing bullet hole mask too. In part 3 when Chris shows Debbie her room for the weekend, she looks out the window to see the barn doors closing shut. Funny thing though . . . that window and room is totally on the opposite side of the house from where the barn is. She would've been looking at the lake. It's the same window bloody-head Jason peers out of in the dream sequence at the end.

Wayne I actually was watching Lives earlier today with the commentary from Tom McLoughlin. The only thing I can say about the climactic lake scenes is that they were filmed in 3 different locations which means to me they probably were not filmed in any kind of order, therefore screwing up the continuity. Tom said they'd already pushed him to add more kills to his planned 13 so perhaps they just didn't have the time or money to go back and fix the continuity?

Jason Lives - Damnation - 06-11-2008

What was strange to me is that jason in JGTH he is all dirty and bloody on his head and a bunch of some extra baggage <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> But then in jason x he is perfectly fine in the skin and shape. But then I read something somhere that he could reginerate?not shure, but very interesting

Jason Lives - caidenzakk - 06-11-2008

I caught on to a small blooper today as well. in part 7 the black mark on the nose of jason's mask supposedly happened when the porch fell on jason near the end right ? but if you go back a few scenes to where tina meets jason face to face for the first time on the road you can see the mark plain as day but it dissappears in the next scene.
