UPDATE: Hi-res look inside... While walking the floor at the San Diego Comic Con, we stumbled across a look at the brand new "hood" that Jason Voorhees will wear in the remake of FRIDAY THE 13TH, which hits theaters February 13, 2009!! The first look comes in the form of a prototype figure for the Plantinum Dunes remake, coming in 2009 from Mezco Toys. The film directed by Marcus Nispel is the retelling of the original Friday the 13th about teenaged summer camp counselors that are systematically slaughtered by a mysterious killer. Jason Voorhees will wear the mask and kill, keeping the famous setting of Crystal Lake. I like the alternate baghead, kinda reminds me of the town that dreaded sundown mixed with dr decker of nightbreed. PLus you have to take into consideration Mezco does make their figures a little toony..Matt

Really not digging the new JASON at all... looks like a skinny white trash dude that needs a haircut.I always liked the image of Jason much more than the films themselves, but this one is just garbage.
