I see alot of silicone stuff out there and I have no idea what it is. Can someone tell me what it is, how it works, how it's different from latex please?

Unlike latex, Silicone is a form fitting material the literally becomes your face when you wear it. check out spfxmasks.comThey have some videos up of the masks being worn so you can see how they move.

Silicone is one of the movie industries favorite materials that they use to make movie props. Do to the uncanny ability it has to make something very lifelike. Silicone is much more expensive and looks much more realistic than latex.(even though I've seen some pretty amazing paintjobs on latex busts) Silicone has a much longer lifespan than latex as well.

Silicone masks run for like $485 and up. A silicone leatherface would probably run about $550.
