And Now For Something Completely Different - FullMoonFever - 09-23-2004 Ok, since someone said they\'re getting married and another person proposed. How many of you here are married? I know the ages here are all over the place, but I\'m just so curious, and how does the spouse react to your mask collection? I\'ll start off. I\'ve been single for about 3 years now, and I dunno if I\'ll ever get married. ~Jenn And Now For Something Completely Different - WarLocK - 09-23-2004 Well, I\'m not yet married but probably will be within a few years. My girlfriend actually loves my mask collection and I\'ve even had her try on a few for me (not in bed, get those ideas out of your head guys). She really supports me in everything I do and knows how much that collecting masks brings me back to my childhood memories. Couldn\'t really ask for a better girlfriend! And Now For Something Completely Different - WilliamAbuJannah - 09-23-2004 My wife flipped when I started collecting masks and hockey masks and making more and more gloves. It came down to something had to go.......... ....so my collection is much bigger now. And Now For Something Completely Different - fright-rags - 09-23-2004 Well, I just got hitched in June...but we\'ve been together for 9 years and living together for the past 2 years, so it\'s not like much has changed since getting married. Anyway, she\'s pretty great about the whole thing. She knows I love horror and that I like to collect movies, masks, posters, etc.. I have a fairly large office at home where I\'m able to display my collection...and as long as I\'m not putting them up in the bedroom or living room, she doesn\'t mind. ![]() I\'m not sure I could be with someone who didn\'t respect my hobbies. I mean, they don\'t have to like them necessarily, but at least respect them as a part of who I am. I definitely lucked out in that area... And Now For Something Completely Different - Blaze269 - 09-23-2004 Not married but looking.......... I agree on the respect factor at least. My daughters mom says I\'m wierd because I do Star Wars costuming, so I could only imagine her on the horror stuff I now have. And Now For Something Completely Different - alvanaxe - 09-23-2004 I\'ve been happily married for 6 years and have a three year old daughter. My family is kinda disturbed about my collection but hey, it\'s better than drinking all the time! And Now For Something Completely Different - HalloweeN - 09-23-2004 I\'ve had a girlfriend for about 2 years. I PLAN on getting married in about 2 more years. She absolutley HATES my collection!!!!! I dunno about her but, i think collecting all of this horror stuff is so fun! I just tell her its a hobby...and it is! It\'s just like collecting stamps or collecting coins! I dont see what the big damn deal is!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Now For Something Completely Different - WilliamAbuJannah - 09-23-2004 exactly, that\'s how my crap started, and you\'re not even married. Why can\'t woman just leave us alone in our hobbies? And Now For Something Completely Different - corblimey79 - 09-23-2004 I\'m married and my wife loves Horror so im ok! Dan And Now For Something Completely Different - Jason-V - 09-23-2004 Not married,, but my gf gets along with my horor stuff she dresses @halloween,, and stuff. |
