I paid about $45 for an Indiana Jones one and weathered it myself, about as cheap as it gets and looks fantastic! You can see it in my threads for my lifesized Freddy.

Just go to google.com and type in "brown wool fedora".You'll find a lot of places that have cheaper hats than the $95 DMC version. An Indiana Jones hat would work well.. just remove the ribbon around the base of the hat. Should work just fine.
