Adding Mass To A Costume - shadowmyst - 09-28-2008 I'm thinking next Halloween I might be Jason from FvJ, I have a few questions Whats the best way to add mass underneath the costume to look more muscular? I'm 6"2, I don't know how tall he was in the movie. I'm guessing 6"5 so I'd have to put some risers or something in the boots, any suggestions on how to do that? Who makes the most accurate jacket and undershirts? I've seen thepropshop's and it looks spot on, what do you guys think of his? Also, who makes the most accurate hockey mask from the movie? And last but not least, I've heard of the melonhead undermask but then I've also heard of Bellamy's undermasks too, which one do you guys recommend?ThanksNick Adding Mass To A Costume - capnvlad - 09-28-2008 i imagine you can take some of that foam matress stuff and cut it up and place it accordingly.. but that might be hot and itchy.. some of the sacrafices you have to make for a good costume lol Adding Mass To A Costume - SPAZONIOUS - 09-28-2008 <!--quoteo(post=278331:date=Sep 27 2008, 07:48 PM:name=shadowmyst)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(shadowmyst @ Sep 27 2008, 07:48 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecI'm thinking next Halloween I might be Jason from FvJ, I have a few questions Whats the best way to add mass underneath the costume to look more muscular? I actually got a hold of the girls that did the jackets and shirts for the movie and sent them pictures of mine and they liked them very much.Prop shops is not the same type of jacket. It's more of a dinner jacket.Definitely Bellamy for a hood. It's amazing and fits perfect. Hockey Mask from Bellamy, Warlock or Ruste Dowg. Boots with the flip flop/high heel method works for added inches or you can do like me and modify the soles as well. Thanks Spaz for the link! Best way for more muscles is layering of heavy shirts underneath. It gets hot but you could pray for a cool Halloween night. Adds great bulk!Muscle Shirt Link Adding Mass To A Costume - shadowmyst - 09-29-2008 Rahl, you make an awesome undershirt and jacket! And you charge less then half of what thepropshop wants. My only question is this, you only sell the one blue wethered undershirt. What about the other grey wethered one that is weared over the blue shirt as shown in your picture gallery? I didn't see it for sale on your website. I may be purchasing one from you in the future! As far as adding mass, I found these interesting pictures off a costume website. This guy used packing foam duck taped onto his body where extra mass was needed. This is what was used for the shouldersWould this method work?ThanksNick Adding Mass To A Costume - Rahl - 09-29-2008 Thanks! True, the grey sweater isn't up yet. I'm still working out the kinks. Soon though. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\" ![]() |
